Is American Idol rigged? It's got to be.
OK, granted there are more important things going on in the world right now, but let's relax for a minute.
Those of you who follow this show this season know that the last five standing are very talented (well, now it's the last four standing). That being said, there is one Idol who stands well above the rest ... Adam Lambert.
After Tuesday's performance, I admit, I picked up the phone and called. I never got through. Repeated calls to Adam's vote line were busy.
Others I talked with had the same experience. The only ones I talked with that connected were friends in Albuquerque, but they said it was 45 minutes after the show ended that they finally got through. I figured with the line constantly busy (and his consistently unparalleled performances), he would be a shoe-in. Not so fast.
So tonight, it was totally a sham that the one performer who is arguably among the best in the history of the show ended up in the bottom two. What's with AI? It's got to be fixed.
Fortunately, it wasn't Adam but Matt who got the boot. But had it been Adam, it would have been obvious the show is totally rigged ... right now, it just seems that it is. Thoughts? Oh, and a Swine flu blog from Puerto Vallarta is forthcoming. But down here, you've got to set priorities. Remember, relax.
